High Reach Operator - 2nd Shift

Position Summary:

The reach lift truck operator drives and operates gasoline, or electric powered industrial truck equipped with lifting devices, or elevating platform to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse and transport materials between loading, processing and storage areas. The reach-lift operator also performs inventory maintenance tasks as established in the PRADCO D/C Standard Operating Procedures, Flow-To-Work Procedures and Standard Work.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Moves levers or controls that operate lifting devices such as forklifts, lift beams with. swivel-hooks, hoists, or elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack material.
  • Inspects product load for accuracy and safely moves it around the warehouse to ensure timely and complete delivery.
  • Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials, and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
  • Manually or mechanically load or unloads materials from pallets, skids, platforms, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
  • May inventory materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed.
  • May weigh materials or products and record weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
  • May lubricate truck, recharge batteries or fill fuel tank.
  • Ensures timely activity, integration, productivity and efficient use of resources.
  • Meet project deliverables by meeting production rates and deadlines.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 3 years previous warehouse experience
  • Minimum of 3 years previous forklift operating experience
  • Passed certification on High Reach, Stand up, Stock Picker and Walkie Lifts.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
