Field Cost Clerk

Steele and Associates are seeking candidates for a field cost clerk opportunity in Calera, AL. This is a contract position slated to start immediately with an estimated duration of 12 months. At the end of the initial 12 months there will be a review of business case for extended work.

This analyst will provide cost control and analysis support for construction portion of assigned project. Candidate will assist in cost tracking, commitment reporting, projections, and cash flows. Entries will be made into company cost control tool while utilizing maximo work management and procurement systems. Support field position, will need to take direction from and work closely with other analysts to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
All submissions should include a listing of software that the candidate has experience with as well as degree of competence in each.

The ideal candidates will have the following qualifications;
Experience in accounting, finance &/or cost management on construction projects
Understanding of procurement
Work order management or accounts payable processes a plus Proficient user of Microsoft applications especially excel including pivots, charts and graphs.
Excellent verbal and written skills, fast learner with the ability to delve into multiple systems for project information.
Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Team player.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
